FOOTBALL !!!!

Football season is less than a month away. I am ready to start watching sports again. Baseball doesnt really do it for me. With the football season starting it also indicates that fantasy football is here. I already have 5 teams on ESPN and i still 4 more drafts for 4 other leagues left. I am also glad that Brett Favre is back. He took me to the semifinals last year so maybe this year it he will do the same.

Lakers win game 2

The Lakers won game 2 last night and now they go to Phoenix to play on sunday. I am hoping the lakers sweep the Suns so tha thet can rest before the finals.

Lakers Update

The Lakers are up by 9 at the half!!! Artest had 15 points in the first half. We need to be up 2 games to 0. The Lakers bench need to step up their 3 point defense and make some baskets. Lets go Lakers

Playoff Time

The Lakers are in Western Conference Finals vs the Suns. Kobe had 40pts as the won game 1 by 21 pts. 3 more wins and we are in the finals. Lets go Lakers

VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME!!!

It has been almost 2 months since my last post. I have been taking care of my dog KOBE and cleaning up his mess. I also took a trip to L.A. with my dad to visit my aunt who has been battling cancer for the past 2 years. She is always in good spirits even though she goes to the doctor for treatment almost every day. While i was gone my AMAZING wife to care of KOBE and Noah by herself. I was very grateful. I got also see a lot of my family that i havent seen in over 6 years. When i got back, KOBE had grown a lot.

Long Time

It has been a while since i have posted anything. the #1 reason why havent is because we got a little boxer mix puppy called...KOBE!!!! He has taken 95% of my tine since he is only 7 weeks old. i have had for 1 week and that week was tough since i had to get up at 2:30am and then 5:00am to take him outside to do his business and then to clean his crate since he got dewormed. Deworming is nasty. is a write this Kobe has gotten up so i must taken outside. Peace

Lakers losing

the Lakers have lost 2 in a row. they lost on thursday at the Heat in OT and also yesterday at the Bobcats. Today they were off but tomorrow is a big game at Orlando. The Lakers havent lost 3 in a row since Pau Gasol has been with the team. Lets hope that having the day off today would give them energy to play hard and make baskets tomorrow

The lakers lost last night to the mavs. they just couldnt stop Jason Terry and Dirk. Maybe next time.

Lakers at Mavs

The Lakers are currently at the half winning 50-49 vs the Mavs. Kobe only has 6 points, all scored in the 2nd quarter. Jason Terry was on fire for the Mavs, scoring 18 points in the first half. I hope the Lakers continue to score baskets but also to play more defense. I probablt wont see the final of this game but you will for sure see a post from me tomorrow. Peace out and Go Lakers!!!

USA USA USA!!!

How about the american hockey time beating canada last night in their home turf. i watched about 1/3 of the game and it was good. very physical and fast. i cant leave the women's team out. they won their semifinal match vs sweden today 9-1. it was a rematch of the semifinal from 4 years ago in torino when sweden upset the americans. GO USA!!!

Lakers Lose

as you probably know by now, the Lakers lost on thursday night to the Celtics. Derek Fisher had the chance to win the game but missed the shot. Kobe did not play again. I am hoping that he will be back for their next game on tuesday.

Nuggets vs Cavs

I am currently flipping between the Olympics and the Nuggets/Cavs game, The Nuggets are ahead right now and i hope they win the game. Later on tonite on TNT the Celtics are at the Staple Center to play the almighty Lakers who might be without Kobe again. Lets go Nuggets and Lakers!!!

Cantina Laredo here we come!!!

Today denise and i are off work thank to Presidents day. Yesterday we just stayed home and watched tv since we figure that everyone would be out for Valentines Day. So today we are heading to the Branson Landing to have some yummy mexican food.

Dunk Contest

This year's dunk contest was horrible. Nobody was creative and all the dunks were lame. My hopes were up cuz Shannon Brown was in the contest. He has made amazing dunks during a game. He was horrible as well. I was ashame.

Kobe out of All Star Game

It was announced today that Kobe will not play in the All Star game. Even though I would love to see him play, I would rather have him rest and heal his injuries. Kobe will be replaced by the Jason Kidd. I'm glad Kobe didnt let his ego get the best of him this time. On a side note, Allen Iverson is also out of the All Star game, but unlike Kobe, he didnt deserve to be voted in.

Laker Win Again

The Lakers won again last night vs the Jazz without Kobe and Bynum. Lamar is really stepping up his game and so is Farmar and Brown. No i must wait until after the All Star break to see my Lakers play again.

Lakers vs Jazz

The Lakers are at Utah today. Kobe is unlikely to play tonite and Bynum is out. It's a tough atmosphere in Utah and it will harder if Kobe doesnt play. I hope Kobe is wise in making his decision about playing or not. I would rather have him sit out than aggravate the injury. All i have to say is GO LAKERS!!!

Lakers WIN

I know this a couple days late but the Lakers beat the Spurs on Monday night without Kobe or Bynum. Way to go guys!!!

Lakers vs Spurs Preview

The Lakers play the Spurs tonite at the Staples Center. Kobe is questionable and Bynum in doubtful. I hope Kobe plays tonite but i also want him to be rested and a little more healed by the time the playoffs come around. I will be watching this game since its on TNT at 9:30 and will be wearing my jersey.

Saints Win!!!

My prediction was wrong. The Colts lost the Super Bowl...ohh well. The Saints played very good and deserved to win. Congratulations Saint Nation

SUPER BOWL!!!

I have the Colts beating the Saints today. The Saints dont have the defense to stop Peyton. I guess we will know in about 4 more hrs.

Lakers Win

The Lakers won last vs the Trailblazers without Kobe Bryant. Lamor Odom had 22 Rebounds. Maybe the Lakers should start Odom instead of Artest. but i guess Phil Jackson knows what he's doing.

Hall of Fame

Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith were both selected into the Football Hall of Fame. They both deserve to be inducted. Jerry is the BEST WR ever to play the game. Emmitt helped the Cowboys win 3 Super Bowls as did Jerry Rice. Way to go Jerry and Emmitt!!!

Lakers Lose

The Lakers lost last night again. Kobe had 33 points but everyone else didnt show up. C. Anthony didnt even play and they still lost. C. Billups scored a career high 37 pts. He was on fire from 3pt range. Tonite the Lakers go to Portland to face the Trailblazers. The Lakers have not one in Portbland in about 8 games i think. I hope the Lakers show up to play and not leave it all to Kobe.

Lakers vs Nuggets Preview

Tonight the Lakers host the Nuggets for a matchup of the top 2 teams in the Western Conference. Kobe is questionable with an ankle injury and C. Anthony with a sprain ankle injury. I am hoping that the Lakers can win no matter if Kobe plays. This would be a great win if they won w/o Kobe. Kobe has been nursing lots of injuries this year and refuses to sit some games out to let some of them heal. He is a competitor and can't stand to lose. He puts the pain in the back of his head and goes out there every game and plays hard. Lets go Lakers!!!

Lakers at Grizzlies Final

The Lakers lost 93-95 today. Its days like these that frustrate me about the Lakers. They can go in to the Garden yesterday and beat the Celtics but thay go today to Memphis and they lose. They need to be consistent and win the games they are expected to win. Next game is Wednesday at the Staples Center vs the Charlotte Bobcats.

Lakers at Grizzlies

Tonite we have my Lakers playing in Memphis vs the Grizzlies. it is half time right now and the Grizzlies are up 52-50/ Kobe has scored 23 pts. Tonite's game is a battle of the Gasol brothers, Pau vs Marc. Pau has 8 pts and Marc has 4 pts. I am not able to watch this game but i am following via gamecast on espn.com

LAKERS VS BOSTON FINAL

so after being down by 5 points entering the 3rd quarter and 7 after it, the Lakers came back to win by 1 point from a shot by the Black Mamba Kobe Bryant. Kobe took a tough shot from the free throw line while Ray Allen covered him really well but Kobe is deadly from that close. There was 7.2 sec left for the Celtics to take the win but Ray Allen missed from 3 point land and time expired. Of course I yelled when Kobe made the shot and when the Lakers won. Boston has had trouble closing out games in the 4th quarter. They were outscored 24-16 in the 4th. I never give up on my Lakers and never will. I put on my Lakers jersey everytime the Lakers are on tv. For those of you guesing which jersey i have, its the #1 selling jersey in the NBA the one and only Kobe Bryant!!!!!

LAKERS VS BOSTON II

The Celtics are 52-47 at halftime thanks to Rajon Rondo and Tony Allen shooting the ball very well. Lakers got outscored 33-17 in the 2nd quarter. not good for the Lakers. I am hoping for a better 2nd half from the Lakers both offensively and defensively.

Professional Bull Riding (PBR)

Today is the final round in the tampa bay invitational in the PBR Ford Tough Series. LJ Jenkins won the 1st round with a score of 88.5 on Outta da Red but close behind him is Austin Meir with a 87.5. Will someone come out of the blue and score above 90 to take the invitational? We will wait and see. Australian Open

Roger Federer won the Australian Open early this morning by defeating Andy Murray in 3 straight sets 6-3, 6-4 and 7-6. this is Federer's 16th Grand Slam title. I believe he has the most Grand Slam Titles in history. Congrats to Federer.

Lakers vs Boston

as i write this, the lakers are playing the celtics at the garden. Lakers are currently up 34-26. Boston is turning the ball over a lot and the lakers are taking advantage and scoring. there has already been 2 technical on R. Wallace and Gasol. as i look back at the tv, it looks like boston is making a run. will post again at halftime.

LAKERS WIN AGAIN

The Reigning NBA Champions won their game vs the Sixers this evening 99-91. They are now 4-2 in their current 8 game road trip. If only they have won the game vs the Cavs last thursday. Kobe scored 24 points and is getting more closer to passing the Great Jerry West for the all time leading scorer in Lakers history. Now i wait for sundays game vs the Boston Celtics at the Garden. This will be a good game and hopefully the Lakers will play hard and win it.

Kurt Warner a Hall of Famer????

As you might have heard or read on espn.com, Kurt has decided to hang up the pads after 12 seasons and 2 super bowls. Many think that Warner is a first ballot hall of famer. Others think that the only reason he had success was because of the teams and players he played with. they argue that when he went to the Giants he didn't do anything. I personally think the is a hall of famer. He made the Rams and Cardinals legit Super Bowl contenders/winners. You can argue that he had Fitzgerald and Boldin as WR to help him out but we all know that Matt Leinart also has had these players and he has stunk the field. Job well done Kurt. I admire your faith in Christ and i thank you for never forgeting that Christ has blessed you with the gift of playing football and using it to glorify HIM.
